PRICES 3LAINTAINED
The usual buyers were present at the fortnightly sale of» hides and skins heid this afternoon at the Chamber of Commerce. For the best lines prices were on a pir with those realised at the previous sale and there was always a good demand. The following gives the range of prices* to-day: —
Hides: Light to o|d; medium to GJd; heavies, about 7d; light ox to GJd; medium ox to 7d; heavy to 9d; caif, light and heavy, up to 12id.
Skins: Dry, fine full-wool, to 10id; half to threequarter, to Sid; pelts to quarter wooi«, 5Jd to 7Ad.
