PENNY FARES MAY RULE AGAIN
A revision of tram fares may be con- | gidored shortly, for the City Council last jii«ht decided, on the initiative of Mr. L. B A. Eady, that the Tramways Committee should review both the price of fares and the length of sectious. Mr. Eady urges penny sections on the basis of an 80 chain section; the adoption of a suitable system of transfer fares; and the running of a semi-independent omnibus service under a bus sub-manager.
