COURT COIFFURE.
King George Objects to the Shingle. j TIGHTENING REGULATIONS. ! LONDON", January 10. King Georpe has a decided aversion ' to the shingle. It is anticipated, states ' the "Daily Chronicle." that in view of this, there may be a tightening up of the dress regulations for attendance at Court. Last year it was requested that ladies should so arrange their coiffuTe as not to interfere with the correct adjustment of their plumes and veil*. A certain slackness in this respect mav be responsible for the new regulations. The only member of the Royal familv whose hair is shingled is Princess Arthur of Connaught. and she invariably conceals the fact in the presence of the King. j
