THREE .MIXOR OUTBREAKS

There were three minor outbreaks of lire in the city and suburbs last night. The City Brigade was called to the Pacific Buildings, where the outbreak was confined to some old window blinds, being quickly extinguished.

A tar-boiler belonging to the City Council caught fire in Arcadia Road, Epsom, but the Parnell and Remuera brigades quickly smothered the flames with sand. '

The western district brigade was called to 70, Lincoln Street, Ponsonby, where a washhouse, owned by Mr. F. Walsh, was slightly damaged before the fire was suppressed.
