MANY CASES IN SWITZERLAND

GENEVA, January 10.
The influenza epidemic in Switzerland continues most serious, though the deaths are chiefly confined to children or the aged. Among those dead is an Australian toy, Henry Moreton, of Brisbane. There are 3847 patients in Basle alone.
