A POOR HAUL.

THIEF GETS FIVE SHILLINGS. OXEEX'NGA PREMISES ENTERED. A thief, or thieves, who broke into tha Auckland Moat Company's premises in Trafalgar Street, Onehunga, last night, gained a poor haul, only a few shillings being secured. When the manager, Mr. C. Hayden, arrived at the shop this morning he found the back door open and the office littered with books and papers. About five shillings in small change was missing. The thief gained an entrance by breaking the netting panel at the top half of the back door and drawing the bolt from the inside.
