SHEFFIELD SHIELD. VICTORIANS AGAIN IN FORM. MELBOURNE, January 4. Victoria seems again to be in a fair way to register another substantial win hi this season's Sheffield Shield contest as evidenced in their second innings against South Australia. The visitors in their first innings made 14S in reply to Victoria's 304, while today the Victorians' second innings score stands at 541 for five wickets (Hendry So, Love not out 170, King 33, Hartkopf 101). Hendry and Love had carried the total toward the 300 when Hendry was stumped off Williams. King assisted Love to bring up his 100, which had taken 209 minutes, and 300 was hoisted for 279 minutes' play. With the advent of Hartkopf the batting became more aggressive, the runs mounting up more freely toward the close.
