RESUMPTION OF THE PLAY.
VISITORS EASILY DISPOSED OF. BADCOCK'S GREAT FEAT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The weather was fine this morning for the fifth day of the Wellington-Otago match. Blamires (2) and Zimmerman (0) faced the bowling of McGirr and Badcock. Eight byes and two singles came off the first over to Blamires, but the next ball saw Zimmerman's dismissal, Hollings taking a catch in the slips. 135—7—1. H. C. Alloo was next, but he soon lost Blamires, who was out lbw to Badcock. 138—8-8. Torrance was next, but failed to score, being caught by Hollings off Badcock. 138—9—0. Green was the last man in, and commenced well with a hit for four, later placing the same bowler to the boundary. Beaching 10; Green continued ' i bat aggressively, scoring two boundaries in succession. The end came when Green was caught and bowled by Badcock.
