MAORI GIRL PLEADS GUILTY. (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Margaret Tini, a Maori girl, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court yesterday to breaking and entering by day, the dwelling of Cyril Gray, and stealing therefrom, goods to the value of £49 18/6. The goods consisted chiefly of clothing, in addition to which Tini took two sovereigns and a tennis racquet. The girl had told the constable that she was taking the clothing to a Maori gathering. Tini was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
