DOUBLE MOTOB ACCIDENT. 1 AN UNUSUAL INCIDENT. (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") BLENHEIM, this day. It is not often that two motor cars come to grief at the same time, yet this is what occurred on Elevation Hill, on the road to Picton last night. Rounding a bend on this road, a car, driven by Mr. A. E. Turner, of Blenheim, skidded in loose gravel and went off the road over the bank, sliding on its side for some distance before turning upside down and crashing on to its other side. The occupants were not thrown out, but were showered with splintered glass. However, they were fortunate enough to escape with only minor injuries. One of the passengers, Uγ. Walker, had a shoulder muscle torn and Miss Turner, another occupant, had to have a cut in her hand stitched up. All had a severe shock. The car, which was new and not insured, sustained damage probably running into well over £100. The crash occasioned by this accident, distracted the attention" of the driver of another car, Mr. Woodman, and in endeavouring to see what had occurred in the rear, inadvertently pulled his own car off the road. * Fortunately, control was regained before it capsized, the damage being confined to the front wheels and axle..
