NAVAL MEN FROM ENGLAND.

PARTY BT THE ROTORUA. TO JOIN NEW ZEALAND WARSHIPS. Among the passengers by the liner Rotorua, which reached Auckland from London this morning, were several naval officers and a party of bluejackets, who are to join the warships of the New Zealand Squadron. The officers were Lieut. O. Gerard and Messrs. A. Hobden, F. J. Cummins, and H. Rawlings. The first two-named are engineers, while Mr. Cummins is a supply officer, and Mr. Rawlings a wireless operator. The party of naval ratings numbered fourteen, including three petty officers. The men, who have volunteered for three years' service on the New Zaland station, are from Chatham, Devonport, and Portsmouth.
