TUNNEY ARRESTED.

WILL BRING AN ACTION. MAGISTRATE'S BITING COMMENT. SEW YORK, December IS. Gene- Tunney, world's heavy-weight champion, was discharged to-day, following his arrest last week on a charge of violating the State boxing laws. Tunney has announced that he will enter a suit for false arrest against Mr. Farley, chairman of the State Athletic Commission. The magistrate said he was satisfied that the Attorney-General's Office had not been asked its opinion as to whether the charge against Tunney of having shown his boxing skill in a vaudeville act had a legal basis, previous to Tunney's arrest. "Public officials," said the magistrate, "should be called to task for instituting proceedings to satisfy some personal grievance."
