OMINION GRAIN SUPPLIES.
HEAVY FLOUR STOCKS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A census of the wheat, flour, and oats taken throughout the Dominion on November 30, shows that the following stocks were held in Auckland, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay. and Taranaki: —17,065 tons of Hour, 492.601 bushels of milling wheat, 92,010 bushels other than milling; oats, 161.589 bushels. Wellington.—B2o tons of flour, S37S bushels of milling wheat, 9587 bushels other than milling, 43.547 bushels of oats. Nelson, Marlborough, and Westland.— SO tons of Hour, 2960 bushels of milling wheat 1763 bushels non-milling. 9541 bushels oats. Canterbury.-5464 tons of flour, 237,534 bushels of milling wheat, 34,534 bushels non-millmg, 362,034 bushels oats Otago and Southland.—l64s tons of o-nio i l4 °'i 3o ? b " Bhels , of milling wheat, 2/_,049 bushels non-milling. 847,766 bushels ot oats. x J he ,-A fl °- UX I St ° clis of the Dominion total L,ooo tons, compared with 7819 tons for the corresponding period last year while milling wheat totals 492,601 bushels' against 1,174,181 bushels last year. Oats stocks are 1.424,777 bushels, compared with 1,381,710. The returns show that millers own 427.666 bushels of the wheat stocks, merchants own 56,463, while farmers have retained 8472 bushels!
