FATAL MELEE.
PHILATELISTS' ARDOUR. PORT FUAD CEREMONY. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 22. The Port Said correspondent of the "Times" states that the ardour of Philatelists has proved fatal. At Port Fuad, where a rush to secure a special issue of commemorative stamps occasioned a melee, in which one was killed and many injured. Otherwise the celebrations were a success. A message yesterday stated that a new town of Port Fuad, which has been built opposite to Port Said, was to be formally inaugurated by King Fuad.
