SEASONAL TRUCK SHORTAGE.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—ln reference to Mr. Holderness' speech at Hamilton and his boast that the facilities at this port are so excellent that a steamer discharged 2800 tons in one day, I would draw attention to the unloading of the s.s. Foreric, now at the King's wharf, which can only do about one-third of the above quantity per day, owing to the inadequate facilities at this port, in this case—shortage of railway trucks.—l am, etc., WEAKLINK.
