VICAR OF WAIHI.
INDUCTION CEREMONY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. The institution of the vicar, the Rev. Wayne, into the living of St. John's, was performed by the Bishop of Waikato (Dr. Cherrington) last evening. During the evensong the Bishop preached a suitable sermon, after which he met the parishioners and visitors at a supper, provided by the ladies of St. John's in the schoolroom.
