. A CEXTUKY-OLD REPUTATION. SUPPLIES FOR CHRISTMAS SEASON. The old-time cake is the central feature for all Christmas gatherings, but it is generally recognised, especially by the 'housewife, that it does not pay to prepare such dainties in the home when they can be procured iv such quality and at such reasonable price from Messrs. The bakeries, fitted with every I modern appliance, turn out an ever- j increasing supply of delicious small goods, while the plain and fancy bread has become famous throughout the city. A daily house-to-house delivery is made j by a fleet of modern motor vans, and all orders will receive prompt attention Special attention is given to supplies for campers and boating , parties, and Messrs. McKeown and Sons' Queen Street shop is conveniently situated to the wharves and ferries. Special' arrangements are made for coping with a volume of country and other orders, no matter how large, and customers may rest assured that they will receive their supplies daily, twice weekly, or weekly, es they desire. When in the city a pleasant refuge from the noise arid bustle which will be appreciated by lady shoppers is the commodious tearooms above Messrs. McKeown and Sons' Queen Street shop. A large staff is employed, and the attractive appointments assure of every comfort. Refreshments may be obtained here at all hours of the" day daintily served on spotlessly clean glasstopped tables which ensure perfection in cleanliness. Another feature is that n. cooling mission orange drink may be obtained. A splendid airy refreshment room is also provided at the Victoria Street shop, where the appointments and service will give equal satisfaction. Amongst the specialties made by Messrs. E.
