His Excellency the Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson. paid an unofficial visit to the Auckland Comme-'"" 1 Travellers' and Warehousemen's Club last evening. His Excellency, accompanied by Captain Boyle, AJJ.C, _ was received y the presiden 1 and committee. After inspecting the premises. the Governor-General played one of the members. Mr. R. W. Donaldson, -a hundred up at billiards, while Captain Boyle played Mr. W. Garrett. Both games were exceedingly even. At the close of the evening, his Excellency expressed his pleasure at having had the opportunity to visit the new club premises.
