MISSING FROM HOME.
- ■ t A HENDERSON RESIDENT. A middle-aged man, John Ignatius Fox. who was formerly organiser for the Waikato Dairy Farmers' Union, has been missing from his home near Henderson since Wednesday last. Search parties were organised immediately Fox was reported missing, but so far no trace has been found of his whereabouts. The missing man recently leased a property from Mr. Bond in the Henderson Valley. On Wednesday last, when Mr. Bond went from Mr. Bond in the Henderson Valley. On Wednesday last, when Mr. Bond went to the house, he found a letter, which was unsigned. This, it is thought, was in the handwriting of Fox. It stated that ever since a libel action, in which Fox was the plaintiff and was awarded damages, he had been very worried, that his mind had become unhinged, and that all his friends viewed him with suspicion. Mr. Bond reported the matter to Constable Smith, of Henderson, who has since forwarded it to police headquarters at Auckland. Fox is sft Sin in height, of medium build, with a prominent jaw, and when last seen was wearing blue serge trousers anil whi: :• shirt and a pair of slippers.
