Sir, —We read in our daily papers the wonderful feats of champion swimmers crossing the -English Channel, which has been achieved several times by men and also) women. Now, how about some of our champion swimmers taking on to swim across Cook Straits, New Zealand, which would be just as daring a feat as swimming the English Channel.— I am, etc., SUGGESTION.
