DOWSETT'S ACCIDENT. INJURY NOT SERIOUS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.* WANGANUI, Friday. It now appears that the injury sustained by Xor man Dowsett, the champion swimmer, in a motor collision ou Tuesday last, is not as serious as was at first reported. It was feared that Dowsett had broken his leg, but an examination now shows that only a. small bone in the leg is broken. Dowsett he js that before the end of the year he* will be able to commence training for the New Zealand championships, which are to be held in Auckland in January.
