CHRISTIAN CONVENTION.

Special are being held in the Scots Hall from this afternoon until next Monday evenings, as announced in special advertisements appearing in this paper. Several well-known speakers are expected, amongst whom are Messrs. R. A. Laidlaw, J. Spottiswoode, Dr. W. H. Pettitt, C. J. Rolls and some missionaries on furlough from British Guiana, Malay States and India. Of special interest at the present time should be a lecture on "Modernism Preparing for Anti-Christ" to be given by Dr Pettitt on Sunday afternoon.
