AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE CLUB.
The first annual meeting of the Auckland Agricultural Science Club was held last evening. Mr. W. T. Collins, vicepresident, presided. The following officers were re-elected for the second year:—President, Professor W. Eiddet; vice-president, Mr. W< T. Collins; committee, Messrs. F. L. Armitage, F. R. Callaghan, J. A. Clinch, W. S. Hill and F. G. Shepheard; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. T. H. Patterson; assistant hon. secretary, Mr. J. W. Woodcock. Professor Riddet's presidential report stated that there were 35 members, and that keen interest had been aroused in research, work. In February a field excursion would be made to the Government farm at Puwera.
