TWO MORE RECORDS.

The Auckland Grammar School's sports were concluded yesterday afternoon in fine weather before a lam-e attendance. In the 880 yds open championship Watt established a new record, covering the distance in 2m 6s, and breaking his previous record of 2m 11s, established last year. Garlick, who won the senior championship, with 21 points, set two fresh standards, running the 220 yds in 245, beating the best time which was previously recorded by L. C. Williams, in 1920. Later in the afternoon, Garlick broke the 440 yds record, covering the distance in 54As. The previous record was 55 2-ss, established in 1920, by A. N. F. Ifwersen. Perry, running from scratch, put up a record in the 220 yds handicap, under 16, covering the distance in 245. The junior championship was won by Canavan, with 15 points, Sergeant, with 12 pointss, being second, and Watson, with eleven points, third. The additional results were:— CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS.
