There is a likelihood that the sitej of the Lyttelton '. Gaol may be - converted into a children's playground. The massive walls of the old gaol have been demolished, ani the..LytteitbnSchool Committee has forwarded to the Education Board a copy of the Lyttelton borough engineer's report on the conversion of the site into a playground.
