BOAT HARBOUR FOR AUCKLAND.
Some months ago the " Star " published the plan of the eastern end of the proposed harbour works of the programme for the next five years. To-day's sketch shows the commodious boat harbour of 215 acres, which will be provided by the breakwater that is to run from Point Erin. Incidentally the breakwater will also shelter the Northcote-Birkenhead vehicular ferry landing, which will be shifted
from the present site to Freeman's Bay.
