ALLEGED FORGERY.

FALSE NAME TO MORTGAGE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEDM, this day. Percy Standley Prebble was charged before Mr. T. E. Maunsell, S.M., with, that, on or about May 5 last, he did forge a deed of mortgage by adding thereto a false signature, to wit "F. Jackson," there being in fact no such person, and with intending the document to be acted upon as if it were genuine. Accused was committed for trial, bail being allowed, himself in £200, and two securities of £100 each.
