In continuation of her voyage from Pacific Coast ports, the Union Co.'s motor, ship Hauraki is to leave Auckland to-mor-row for Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. THE WAINTJI. An alteration in the Wainui's timetable is announced by the. Union Company. This vessel is to leave Auckland at 10 p.m.! on Monday, November 1, instead of on Tuesday. November 2, for Tokomaru Bay, Glsborne and Napier. lONIC IN PORT. " I TAMAHINE TO RESUME. j It is announced by the Union Company j that the Tamahine is to re-enter the' Wellinpton-Picton service from Wellington | on Wednesday, October 27. Under her new timetable she will leave Wellington at 3' p.m. on Mondays. Wednesdays and Fridays, and Picton at 2.30 p.m. on Tuesdays, i Thursdays and Saturdays. WEST NIVARIA DISCHARGING. Carrying 8000 tons of cargo, including case oil and timber, the American-Australia-Orient Line steamer West Nivaria arrived at Auckland last evening from Los Angeles. She berthed this morning at the Princes wharf. The West Nivaria loaded at Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles, taking her final departure from San Pedro on September 26. Generally fine weather was experienced until the steamer was nearing the New Zealand coast, when bead winds and rough seas were encountered. From Auckland the West Nivaria, which is under Messrs. Henderson snd Mncfarlane's agency, is %0 proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton, and New Plymouth, to complete discharge. Thence she returns to San Francisco direct. Captain H. Carrying a cargo of Maiden Island guano for discharge at Auckland and New Plymouth, the German four-masted barque Gustav cleared Rarotonga, where she disembarked native labourers who had loaded the cargo, on October 15. She should ; arrive early next month. .THE NEW WAIPIATA. Advice received by the local office of the Union Company states that the company's new steamer Walpiata, which is to enter | the Auckland-Dunedin cargo service, la due at Wellington from England tomorrow. Constructed with her engines aft, the Waipiata is a two-deck vessel, with three cargo holds. As she averaged fourteen knots on ! her trials, she should prove the fastest cargo steamer on the coast. WAIHBKE EXCURSIONS.
