The ''Toronto Globe"' has received a wireless message from the liner Leviathan as follows: "The real reason for the visit to America of Queen Marie of Rumania was disclosed this morning. A commercial intrigue was revealed, which shows that Queen Marie's reputation, both political and private, was being exploited like tbe personality of any lady tennis champion or Channel swintner.

The message adds that the agent of the syndicate holding the contract, when he heard that Queen Marie had consented to speak directly for the benefit of the general public, forbade it and threatened to cancel the agreement. Former cable messages have indicated that the Queen's visit to America was because of the serious illne=s of the Kinn ! and for loans the Queen hoped to arrange I with American bankers.
