It is intended to appoint a physicist and a physical chemist to complete the staff of "tne"Dominion Laboratory, thus extending its scope in testing problems. Another pending appointment is that of geologist, to give special attention to industrial aspects of geology. One geologist has commenced investigation in the thermal regions, including White Island.
