He asked that the discussions be free from acrimony a D d their criticism be constructive. The "programme for the championships was to be distributed almost at once, and the various committees vvoulrl have to be set up. With wholehearted co-operation on the part of the delegates there was no doubt that swimming in Auckland would advance as it had done in the past.
