- AN ALLEGED OPERATION. j (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, Thursday. The Magistrate's Court was occupied c to-day with hearing the case against 11 Edith Amy Gerraty, who was alleged i- to have unlawfully used an instrument ;- on a married woman. Mr. J. W. Poynl ton was on the bench and Detective c Sweeney, of Hamilton, conducted the case on behalf of the police. Mr. E. J. c Clendon appeared for the accused, t The accused, who pleaded not guilty, • reserved her defence and was committed ;- to the Supreme Court at the ensuing session.
