Forty competitors in the first Palmerston North to Wellington roa<l race for amateur cyclists left here this mor-nhi? at intervals, commencing from S to 9 o'clock. The riders are from all over the North Island. A heavy westerly wind was blgwirur. which is expected to delay the arrival oi the men at the Empire City. HUNDRED-KILE RACE.
