Test Recital, ladies.—Gretehen Hulme (Cam-bridge), 170, lj Edna Langmuir (Te Awamutu), 2. National Song, men. —Hugh Woods (Auckland), 170, 1; Cyril Walton and Ronald Walton (Te Aroha), 168, 2. Piano Solo.— Gane Harbutt (Cambridge). Original Poem, with New Zealand setting.—Edna Langmuir ("Kopua Hills"), 1; Mrs. W.J. Ward, 2. Vocal Solo, without music, own accompaniment.—Edna Langmuir, 1; Mary McKenzie, 2. Humorous Recital. —M. Wilkinson ("Vicar's Presentation"), 84, 1. Soprano Solo.—Miss V. A. Flay (To Awamutu), 185, 1; Edith Savill (Te Awamutu), 181, 2. I Piano Duet, own selection.—Mary Attwood and Jane Harbutt (Cambridge), 179, 1; Helen Crowther and Joan Couper, 174, 2. Possenniskie and party, 2. During the proceedings at the demonstration concert, Mr. E. Veale, the president, returned thanks to all who had assisted towards the festivals success. The Championships. The following championships were awarded: — Lady Vocalist.—Edna Langmuir (Te Awamutu), 18 points, 1; G. V. Flay (Te Awamutu), 12 points, 2. Champion Lady Elocutionist.—Mrs. C. L. Possenniskie (Cambridge)', 16 points, 1; Miss Gretehen Hulme (Cambridge), 13 points, 2. \ Mr. Maurice Wilkinson (Cambridge) headed the male elocutionists, but did not qualify in one section. Most Versatile Elocutionist.—Edna Langmuir. Children's Elocution.—Gladys Brittain (Cambridge), 1; Sybil Wright (Frankton), 2. Best Individual Effort, any age.— Master Rehal. FUKEKOEE. At a meeting of parents and employers, Messrs. Jas. Crosbie, F. J. Morrow, and W. Wyatt, the retiring representatives, were re-elected as members of the Pukekolje Technical High School Board of Managers. A paddy's market and sale of work, heia at Pukefeohe East in aid of the Pukekohe East Tennis Club, resulted in the funds being augmented to the extent of about £60. The Pukekohe Technical High Schools championship debate resulted in Miss IS. Hunniford being awarded the championship for girls, and Master A. Best the trophy for boys.
