WHAT ABOUT NEW ZEALAND?
Records of the United States meat inspection service during the last fiscal year enow that tuberculosis continues to be the most serious and widespread disease affecting cattle and pigs at the time of slaughter. These two kinds of stock constitute the great bulk of the food animals in the United States. The results of post-omrtem inspection show that tuberculosis was responsible for considerably more condemnation than all other diseases and ailments combined.
