Sugar laden for Auckland, the Union Co.'s steamer Kaimanawa was expected to leave Suva to-day. She is due here ou Sunday or Monday. TONGARIRO SAILS TO-MORROW. Now completing her cargo at the Queen's wharf, the New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Tongariro is to sail at mid-day tomorrow for London, via Panama. DBWEX SAILED. A departure from Auckland late yesterday afternoon was the Swayne and Hoyt Line steamer Dewey for Wellington, in continuation of her voyage from Pacific Coast ports. YOSERIC RESUMES VOYAGE. Her bunkers replenished, the Andrew Weir Co.'s steamer Yoseric, which , put into Auckland yesterday morning, sailed last night for Lyttelton, in continuation of her voyage from Xaum Island. Cabled information reports the departure from Newport News on Saturday last of the Federal Line steamer Devon, en route from Auckland to London, Antwerp and West Coast of United Kingdom ports. She cleared this port on July 24. NIAGARA CONTINUES VOYAGE. A departure from Auckland this morning was the Union Co.'s R.M.s. Niagara for Vancouver, via Suva and Honolulu. She is due to arrive at her destination on September 17. MARAMA FROM SYDNEY. Variable winds with a moderate swell were experienced across the Tasman by the Union Co.'s .passenger steamer Marama. ' which arrived at Auckland from Sydney this morning. The Marama. which is at the Prince's wharf, is to sail on her return trip at 3 p.m. on Friday. THE R.M.M.S. AORANGI. En route from Vancouver, the Union Co.'s R.M.m.s. Aorangi is due at Honolulu to-morrow, Suva on September 10, and Auckland on September 12. Rayne, R.X.; and 421 third class. : KEELUNG'S VOYAGE. Arriving from New York this morning, the A. and A. Line's chartered steamer Keelung (Captain A. McClelland) berthed at the Prince's wharf. Leaving New York on 1 July 18, the vessel experienced good wea- . ther to Norfolk, where the ship replenished her bunkers. The voyage was resumed on July 20, and fine wather met with until , July 24, when a cyclone was encountered. The conditions rapidly became worse, the seas running very high, and at 11 p.m. on that day the ship was hove-to. Heavy ' seas came on board, flooding the decks and smashing several panes of glass on the bridge. During the storm torrential rain 1 reduced the vUability to a minimum. On [ the evening of the following day an attempt was made to resume the voyage, but on the \ next morning the eteamer was again hove- | to. After a further delay of four and a-half , hours the conditions commenced to improve, and good weather wae then experienced to . Colon, which wae reached on July 30. • Transit through the Panama Canal was obtained the same day, and a stay t>f two ' hours was made at Panama. In the Pacific good weather was experienced until a week ago, when strong westerly winds and high seas were encountered. From Auckland the !
