In the senior erade Mrs. Motion beat Mrs. Bayly. 4 up and 3 to play ; Miss Jefferies beat Miss Dnncau by default, ami Miss Backhurst won from Miss Pirritt by default. In the junior jrrade Miss Lloyd beat Mr?. Sommerville. 6 up aud 5 to play ; Miss Middlemiss beat Miss Hogan. 5 up and 4 to play; Miss O'Connor beat Mrs. Maddison. 1 up, and Miss Jefferies won by default from Miss Butement. EVERSLIE CLUB. ' The following are the results of some of the championship first rounds that have been played : —Mrs. Windle beat Miss Legge. 6 and 4; Ritchie beat R. Green, 1 up; Jennings beat Donovan, 4 and 2. Owing to wet weather over the weekend the driving and approaching competitions were postponed till nest week. EVERSLIE LADIES' CLUB. The Everslie ladies plajed for Mrs. Lever's trophy on Saturday last and Miss Joyce Cosgrave was returned the winner with a net score of 53, Mrs. Wardell being second with a net score of 54. ——————— PAPAKURA CLUB. The Papaknra men played the second round of the Ryan Cup on Saturday last, the winner being Mr. S. D. Rice with a score of 79. PAPAKURA LADIES' CLUB. The Papakura ladies played a L.G.U. medal round, and three rounds of the cup trophy combined, which was won by Mrs. J. E. Elliott with a score of 81. PUPUKE CLUB. - The members of the Popuke Golf Club played a four ball bogey match for a trophy. The best cards returned are as follows: —I. G. Mackenzie and M. E. Thompson 2 np ; F. H. Mingay and O. G. Stephenson, 1 down : A. M. Howden and A. W. Clark. 3 down: B. Goldwater adn D. R. Mowbray. 3 down ; J. Howie and S. K. Norris, 4 down. PUPUKE LADIES' CLUB. The flag match played last Wednesday resulted in a win for Mrs. Quick, who carried the flag to the 18th green, Mrs. Foote being second. On Wednesday next a medal round for a trophy will be played over the new course. Draw for partners. LADIES' INTERCLUB MATCH. A ladies* lnterclub match between Glen(iowie and Papaknra will be played on the Glendowie links to-morrow. \ WAITEMATA LADIES' CLUB.
