CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE. (Received 11 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, August 20. The foreign Chambers of Commerce dispute is at present the subject of diplomatic discussion. Meanwhile they are to he allowed to re-open.— (A. and N.Z.) & It was recently decided by the Turkish Government to order all foreign Chambers of Commerce to discontinue operations. It was known that this had been proposed for a considerable time past, but the foreign Governments did not consider that Turkey would take action in the matter.
