EFFECT OF REDUCTION. (Received 3 p.m.) LONDON, August 20. In view of the reduced freights the Shaw. Savin and Albion Company is considering the advisableness of building only one passenger motor liner instead of two, and is negotiating with the New Zealand Shipping Company to build the second.—(A. and N.Sf.)
