• BABY DIES IN HOSPITAL The baby. Eoy Carey, aged 18 months, who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Monday suffering from the effects of drinking caustic soda, died last evening. The parents reside at 14, Woodford Road. Mount Eden. Mrs. Elizabeth Craig, who received severe injuries after falling from a tram in Mount Eden Road on Monday evening, died in the Auckland Hospital last evening. Inquests were opened before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M, to-day, and in both cases were adjourned sine die. ■■
