A " BREEZE" ALLEGED.
(Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, August 2. There has been some comment with reference to Ryder, who on Saturday bowled one over and was taken off, it is believed in consequence of his moving the field without consultation with the captain. To-day he did not attempt to field a drive from Grimmett, and after consultation between the latter and Bardsley, Ryder was moved to another portion of the field.—(A. and N-Z.)
