A CURE FOR COLDS.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—ln Saturday's issue you published a letter over my signature re a cure for colds, etc. A slight error has occurred. It is necessary to invert the funnel before soldering to the tin lid, thus forming a cone; the steam then passes through the hole in the lid into the cone; it becomes in a way superheated, and so passes through the narrow end of the funnel into the air.—l am, etc., W. A. McLAGLAN
