WAITEMATA CLUB. The first round of the club championship was played on Saturday, with the following result: —Warren beat E. Jackson, 5 and 4; Baxter beat Hogan, at the 10th; B. Jackson beat Harvey, 2 and 1 ; O'Connor beat Anderson, 4 and 3 ; W. Griffiths beat Hay, 3 and 2; Rudge bent A. Griffiths, 1 up. The following team will represent Waitemata at Pupuke on Saturday next:—W. Goudie, A. Griffiths, Gooding. O'Connor, Anderson, Little, Rudge, Chapman, W. Griffiths. Burgess, Muskett, W. Graham. Play will begin at 1.30 p.m.
