A Letter from Peter Pan.
His Message to all Little Ones. " Auckland Star " Office. My Dear Little Friendi, — Of course, you all know that Peter Pan wu just a little boy who did not want to grow up. Now 1 am just like him. I want to stay young and have a good time with you all. The kind man who writes this paper has told mc that I can write you a letter here each week. Isn't that just lovely of him? As well as the letter, 1 will tell you some lovely stories about the land Peter came from, and all about his friends in Fairyland. 1 will give you some pretty poetry that you can learn, and if you are very clever you can try and work oat some of the puzzles that I set, and I am sure you will laugh at my funny stories. I know just tons and tons of games that you can play at your parties, and all sort* of good things. Perhaps some of you can write little stories, and later on you can send them to mc, and 1 will ask the man who writes the paper if he will let mc print them here for you all to read. There are lots of other good thing* on this page just for yourselves, and if there is anything that I have left out that you most specially want mc to put in, well, just write to mc about it, and I will see. Anyway, I hope you will write and tell mc about yourselves, too, for I just love getting letters, and I will slip an answer into the " Mail Bag " column for you. I will write to you again next week, and in the meantime try and see if you can win some of the little competitions.
