PERSONAL.
Mr. J. S. Dickson, M.P., left for Wellington by last evening's express. Dr. and Mrs. Abernithy, of Thames, are at the Central Hotel, Lieutenant-Colonel and Mrs. Andrews, of Paeroa, are at the Central Hotel. Mr. J. S. Kennedy, of Wellington, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Mace, of Whangarei, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. B. Seannell, of Napier, Mr. W. Fleming, of Wellington, and Mr. and Mrs. A. Jacobs, of Wellington, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. Roy S. Hooper, solicitor, was yesterday admitted as a barrister of the Supreme Court on the motion of Mr. C. B. Gallagher. Mr. F. Hargrave (Rawene). Mr. G. H. Oakley (Wellington), Mr. M. Ritchie (Gisborne), Mr. and Mrs. W. Kennedy (Wellington). Mr. Campbell Johnstone (Te Kuiti), are at the Central Hotel. Mr. W. G. Culley, who, during the installation of the automatic telephone system in Auckland has represented the Western Electric Company, will leave for his home in America by the Niagara next week. He will be accompanied by Mrs. Culley, and will later proceed to Madrid. Spain, for the supervising of the installation of the automatic system there.
