MAN DIES FROM INJURIES. Severe head injuries and abrasions were sus.ained by Mr. E. S. Postlewaight, an employee of the Chelsea Sugar Works, yesterday afternoon, when h. slipped from a stSck of sugar and fell a distance of 12 feet. A launch was requisitioned and the injured man brought to Anckland. where he was transferred to the hospital b\ tli2 St. John ambulance. An operation was performed, but he succumbed at 4 a.m. to day. The deceased resided at 9. Inkerman Street, Freeman"* Bay. aud was 52 years of age.
