ESCAPE FROM ACCIDENT.
MOTOR CAR TYRES BURST.
LONDON, June 20. The Prince of Wales has had another remarkable escape. His Royal Highness was driving his motor car to Sandwich, with a gentleman and two ladies as passengers, when, according to some accounts of the incident, two tyres burst simultaneously. The car swerved but the Prince pulled it up eafely. He. opened the toolbox with a view to effecting repairs, but found that two tyre* had burst and that only one spare tyre was available. He waited until a second car, which contained friends, overtook the disabled vehicle.—(A. and N.Z.)
