SOLD FOR £105. WORK OF STRIPPING SHIP. A report from the "Stars" correspondent at Tairua states that the price paid by Messrs. Cory-Wright Bros, for the wreck of the steamer Manaia was £105. A dozen men were? employed on the wreck yesterday, taking out fittings, steam steering gear, winches, etc. Tue gear obtained will be taken by punt to Yairua. The sea is calm, and the position of the wreck remains unchanged.
