FEILDING. At the rp.lldlTiff stock sale, on Friday, a small yarding of slieep was offered to a sniaU attendance of The sale of rat sheep was anything- but spirited. Store pens were niled with medium to inferior sheep, and a few pens were passed In. Lambs were in demand and sold well up to late rates. The following are the quotations:—Fat lambs, 17/6, 10/, to 23/; ewes, 18/; b.f. ewes, 20/; medium, 16/3; wethers, 29/, 29/0, to 30/4; b.f. two-tooths, 28/1. Stores: Two-tooth wethers, 18/, 18/3 to 24/0; wether lambs> 12/9, 13/6, to 16/4; ewe lamb*, ie/9 to 14/4: b.f. lambs, 11/4 to 13-/7; Tour-tooth wethers, 25/; m.s. lambs, 12/1 to 12/6; ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, 8/. 10/, to 12/3. A small entry of cattle met with a fair demand, prices being , on abouj. the same level as the last three sales. Fat heifers realised £6 12/6; fat cows, £4 2/6 to £5; small, forward bullocks, £6; three and alialf year, P.A. cross bullocks, £G 10/; Jersey heifers, r.w. bull, £6 10/. MORtIINSViIXE. Dalgety and Co., the following prices were realised : Wat cows, £3 10/ to £3 10/; store cows. £1 10/ to £2; 2-year •in calf heifers, ■£5 10/, smaller sorts, £3 15/ to £4; Jersey cross calves, £1 15/ to £2 5/; dairy cows, «p to £7 10/.
