Six started. Won by three lengths. (A. and N.Z.) The winner, Solario, is the horse for which the Aga Khan recently made the record offer of £100,000, nut which Sir J. Rutherford turned down, stating that he intended to keep the horse, which he purchased as a year**ng Tor 3500 guineas. Solario lrst season won the St. Leger, the Princess of Wales Stakes.
